KRUZBERG · Post-punk band from Lyon, France
KRUZBERG is a post-punk band from Lyon, France, formed in 2025.
The band grew out of songs written by Greg Nacht. The line-up is Greg Nacht on vocals, guitar and songwriting, Lou Therig on guitar, Théo Arnaiz on bass and Thomas Ayrinhac on drums. Their music sits between post-punk and alternative rock. Their reference points come from today’s British and Irish post-punk scene: IDLES, Fontaines D.C., Shame, The Murder Capital and DITZ.
The band’s visual world draws on VHS, CRT screens, fanzines and analogue film, in high-contrast black and white, in the line of labels such as Factory Records and 4AD.
KRUZBERG released its first single, “BlackMud Manor”, on 12 September 2025. It was followed by “Where I Belong” on 3 April 2026 and “Two½ Hotel Stars” on 17 July 2026. All three songs are self-produced and available on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and YouTube. An EP is planned for 2027.
On YouTube you can find a studio live session of “Where I Belong”. The band posts its news on Instagram as kruzberg_noise.
In 2026 the band was selected for the Tremplin Musilac and interviewed by Radio Canut. It also joined the Labo of the Conservatoire de Lyon, on its 2026-2027 contemporary music programme.
KRUZBERG plays mostly in Lyon and the surrounding Rhône area. Between June and October 2026 the band played the Fête de la Musique in Lyon, Over Eighteen Motors in Saint-Symphorien-d’Ozon, Le Groom, Rock n’Eat and Trokson in Lyon, and Rock N’Beer in Villefranche-sur-Saône. Upcoming dates are listed on the Concerts page.
Not to be confused with Kreuzberg, the Berlin district: KRUZBERG is spelled without an “e” and comes from Lyon.
